November 22nd, 2020 Curriculum

Summary: In this series, kids will learn the beginning of David's life story from musician and shepherd boy to king. Kids will discover that God doesn't choose us for his purposes based on the way that other people choose, but by what is in our hearts. David's story helps us to see that God's plans for us are much more interesting than anything we can dream up on our own!

    Series: 1 Samuel | Help

Big Idea: God helps us persevere in doing the right thing.

God Story: David & Saul Part II | 1 Samuel 25-31

Key Verse: “The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outside of a person. But the Lord looks at what is in the heart.“ 1 Samuel 16:7

    At Home:

    Youth playlist at youtube.com/themeetinghouse

    2. Ask your kid: has there ever been a time when you’ve had

to persevere for a long time to do the right thing? What was

it? Share your own example with them, too.

    3. This week, take time to read together as a family: Hebrews

12:1-3, Hebrews 10:23-25, and Romans 5:1-5. Talk about

We desire and are intentional to teach the children of our community the important fundamental truths of God’s love and Word through interactive lessons, meaningful relationships, and powerful worship. Of course, we have plenty of fun, too!

All of our volunteers have been through training and completed a background check to assure you that your child is in the best care possible!
