Job Title: Receptionist

The receptionist at HCC is an individual who is hospitable, responsible, dependable, proactive and task oriented. HCC’s Receptionist will serve guests by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately. Provides general office and event support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.


  • Attend monthly staff meetings
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Answering and directing emails
  • Creating and scheduling email communication to church congregation
  • Greeting and assisting visitors, walk-ins and appointments
  • Sorting mail and distributing to staff mailboxes
  • Signing for, organizing, relocating and notifying staff on packages that arrive
  • Inventory and order essential office supplies
  • Monitor printer/copier
  • Assist with preparing materials needed for teaching series, HCC Groups, and meetings
  • Coordinate church calendar
  • Hospitality Coordinator
  • Additional job-related duties may be assigned as needed


  • High school diploma or GED
